The brief
I wanted to see how much of the weekly production process — research, first draft, fact-checking, formatting — could be handled by a small agent pipeline, while keeping the final voice entirely mine.
What we built
A four-tool pipeline: a research agent, a drafting agent, an editing pass, and a formatter. The output is a near-complete draft that I read through once and publish. Total weekly time dropped from six hours to under ninety minutes.
What I learned
Agents are good at breadth, bad at taste. The pipeline does everything up to the last 20% — that 20% is still entirely manual, and probably always will be.
